When you start out your morning playing Clash Royale for about an hour before deciding to get up and get a glass of water, there is little motivation to put any effort into your lunch. Luckily, there are various ways to prepare a nice lunch without much effort (Or wasting Clash Royale Clan Battle weekend time).
Today I made myself a bowl of Pozole in less than 30 minutes. Keep in mind that I did put some forethought into this meal while shopping for my groceries.
First you'll need a fully prepared can of Pozole.
Remember when you are in the veggie aisle to buy the items below:
Avocado, onion, lime, and dried oregano. I chose not to use oregano and instead added Valentina hot sauce (Mild). I find Tapatio hot sauce is also a great alternative.
Second, pour the contents of the can into a pot and heat until it boils. Be careful not to pull the easy open tab too hard or it will break. If this happens, don't worry. The lid comes open easily with a spoon.
While the Pozole boils cut up the onion, lime, and avocado as you prefer.
Once the Pozole boils it is ready to serve. Just add the onion, avocado, lime and Valentina hot sauce as desired.
Tada!
Pozole is ready to enjoy. As an extra you can buy Tostitos chips or tostadas. The particular size I bought serves about two bowls. It is also worth mentioning that here in CDMX you can buy a nice bowl at a restaurant or street market for about the same price as this presentation costs. In my experience this is a healthier and less greasy option than buying it at a restaurant. For those living outside of Mexico this option is way cheaper and the ingredients are fairly common in the U.S.
Now you can eat a nice lunch without sacrificing much time from the important things in your life or the nothingness that can be enjoyed on a lazy Sunday like today.
I'm off to play Clash Royale. See you soon!
