I was frustrated with the swype texting keyboard on my phone mostly due to the auto-correct mistakes and the lack of functionality when switching from one language to another. I wanted an alternative to physically creating a message via keyboard. I am currently running Android 7.0 Nougat on my Motorola G4. The app I found is called DRAGON MOBILE ASSISTANT. This app allows you to control different functions like music playback, search, texting, and calling just by using voice commands.
Here is a quick video I made showing some of the functions you can do on DRAGON. I took this opportunity to test out GoPro's free video editor QUICK. The onscreen footage was taken using MOBIZEN SCREEN RECORDER.
I will keep using DRAGON and post updates. I like how it lets you select which music app you want to use. I would like that same control when it comes to texting. Here in CDMX most people use WhatsApp instead of regular SMS texting. There is also a Facebook status update function that worked seamlessly. All functions were done using voice commands that were very intuitive.
Quick note: I did test out other Siri like apps and was happiest with DRAGON.
